Phrygian Helmet

The "Phrygian" style of helmet had a slightly forward-swept point. It was common in Islamic nations during the Crusades and was often made very elaborate with fluting or other decoration. The basic shape was also in use in Europe during the time of the Normans.

Shown below with optional fluting and a simplified skirt. The client plans to attach a leather drape over the skirt to give it a more authentic Eastern look.
